Mystery & Magic Under The Stars This Fall At Solei: Celebrate "Spooky Season" With Murder Mystery Dinners & Family-Friendly Films

Looking to put detective skills to the test? The Murder Mystery Dinner Series will take attendees on a delicious and thought-provoking dinner equal parts gastronomic glory and mind-boggling whodunit. Become part of the story as secrets unfold, suspects emerge, and clues lead to a thrilling final reveal. Each evening combines interactive entertainment with a specially curated three-course dinner as well as themed craft cocktails.

The series kicks off on Saturday, October 10th, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. with “Murder at the School of Sorcery,” where mischief awaits at a mysterious magical academy. Guests will receive character assignments after purchasing their tickets and are encouraged to embrace roles and work together to solve the crime.

All that sleuthing is sure to work up an appetite and Executive Chef Gaston Javier Sanchez curated a menu worthy of the season. Dine on the Witches Garden Harvest Salad with baby kale and arugula, roasted butternut squash, goat cheese, candied pecans, pomegranate arils, pickled red onions, crispy sage and toasted pumpkin seeds with maple apple cider vinaigrette; The Headless Horseman’s Feast, featuring crispy herb-roasted chicken with pumpkin parmesan risotto, crispy sage, Parmesan crisp and sage brown butter jus. Dare to try The Poisoned Apple, a dessert of roasted cinnamon apple, mascarpone mousse, salted caramel, brown butter crumble and apple cider reduction served with vanilla ice cream.

The Halloween mystery continues with “The Witches’ Pact” on Saturday, October 17th, 2026 followed by “A Killer Evening: Sip, Dine & Solve the Crime” on Saturday, October 24th, 2026. Those looking to indulge their sinister sides in a subtler fashion can lie back and relax with Solei’s Movies Under the Stars: Halloween Edition, enjoying cinematic Halloween favorites poolside. Taking place Friday evenings October 16th, 2026, Friday, October 23rd, 2026 and Friday, October 30th, 2026 at 8:00 p.m., the series offers a unique beachfront movie experience under the stars. Each ticket includes a bag of popcorn; guests are encouraged to bring their favorite beach chair or blanket and settle in for a cozy night of spooky-season entertainment.
